Opening My Heart, Merry Christmas Eve

Good morning my Fabulous Fighters! Merry Christmas Eve to each and every one of you. As many of us are finishing up last minute holiday preparations, I wanted to take a heartfelt moment to express my deepest gratitude to this cherished community that has been a steadfast source of support and encouragement. Your unwavering presence has meant the world to me, especially as we have navigated this year together, filled with its share of ups and downs, triumphs and challenges, and yes, even the very ugly moments that life sometimes throws our way. This year has been a particularly tumultuous one for me, filled with experiences that have tested my resilience and pushed me to my limits. Opening myself up to others again has proven to be a daunting task, as I have had to confront many fears and insecurities. Trust does not come easily for me, and as a result, I have kept my inner circle intentionally small. There are many reasons behind this choice, and I look forward to sharing more about my personal story and the lessons I have learned in the New Year.

As we approach the new beginnings that the New Year promises, I feel a renewed sense of hope and possibility. I've lost many people these past few years, each departure leaving an indelible mark on my heart and mind. These were individuals I cherished deeply, who I considered as close as family, sharing moments of joy, laughter, and even sorrow. However, as time unfolded, their true colors began to show through the façade they had carefully maintained. It was a revelation that came as a shock, peeling back layers of pretense to reveal a darker, more unsettling reality beneath. In reflecting on these experiences, I find myself drawn to the color purple, which I have come to associate with the unfavorable traits exhibited by these individuals.

This duality resonates with my feelings, as these people, who once seemed to embody warmth and loyalty, ultimately revealed a more sinister side that I had not anticipated.
